Overall very nice place, the fully equipped kitchen very helpful since the prices in the restaurants are really high. For small beer in the hotel restaurant be prepared to pay $5.50 and simple lunch for 2 with 2 beers will cost you around $45 plus tip. diving is generally the only reason to go to Bonaire, not much to see... more

Overview Whilst Bonaire, and the Divi Flamingo Resort, is ideal in many respects, it is a pity that there is not greater variety of dive sites and more, larger fish. Weather The weather was very pleasant; it was about 35 deg C in the middle of the day, although the wind meant that it was not searingly hot, and it... more

We are a family of 3 with a boy in a wheelchair. He is 15 and this year he got his diving license. We had a wonderful time on Divi and this was our 4 time at this hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful and we are going back next year in July. Bonaire is a wonderful island for... more

We stayed at the DIVI 4/6-4/15, two studio rooms, moldy, but easily solved by opening the windows during the day and turning on the AC at night. Very easy walk to town with "gate key" decent drinks, excellent dinners at chibi chibi. The diving was great. loved Karon. I agree that this is not a 5 star, but we had... more

Just got back from a great week in Bonaire, go at aleast once a year, and stayed at the Divi resort with an all inclusive package. I had stayed at the Plaza in the past and wanted to try something new but I have now learned my lesson. When I booked, I made it clear that I wanted a second... more

My Travel Agent made a mistake on our reservations. Divi personnel extended every courtesy available to straighten out the mess my Agent made. We arrived in the middle of the night. Divi put us in separate rooms and told us we could straighten things out in the morning!!!!! All the personnel went out of their way to make our vacation... more

Spent a delightful week at the Divi, diving and snorkeling as much as humanly possible. Bonaire has the most convenient diving aside from a live-aboard, which is great because there's not a lot to get excited about other than the diving. The reviews of the resort are fair.We had a beach-front unit that had been recently updated, and it was... more

I just returned from my first vacation to Bonaire. Dec 5-13, 2006. The Divi resort is located in a great location, only a 5-6 min walk to town. There is a gate at the end of the property that you need a key to access, but makes the walk a lot shorter. No one at the resort told us about... more

This resort is aging and many parts are clearly in need of renovation. At the same time, the per night cost was very reasonable given the location, the amenity level of the resort, and the high level of staffing. We had a studio with kitchen. The kitchen, bathroom, floors, and linens were in fact very clean and tidy. The downside... more

We love staying here for a restful vacation with excellent snorkeling right in front of the dining area and pier. Our room was not the best so they moved us to one that was more than adequate. We like staying on the water in our room, and this resort has that option. There isn't a lot to do at night... more
