My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Golden Reef Inn. We had fun in the honeymoon cottage. When we arrived at the airport a driver from the Inn came to pick us up. We waited about an hour to get our luggage and the driver told us to go accross the parking lot to get our rental car. However... more

We stayed at the Golden Reef Inn from January 29th to February 19th (3 weeks). This is our third time on Bonaire and our first stay the the GRI. I booked it on the Internet after searching for a reasonably priced and comfortable apartment. We were not disappointed. The reservation was handled very efficiently over the internet. We were met... more

Golden Reef Inn in more of a northerly located hotel in Bonaire. Communications with the Inn were excellent and we were met at the airport promptly after our red-eye flight from Houston. The 1 BR apartment was quiet and very clean. Unfortunately the A/C didn't work (and it was HOT in August). We asked for a fan but never received... more

Very personalized service. Ed and Liz are very hospitable. They were able to arrange for any service one needed or gave you privacy if need be. Comfortable facilities and clean. Don't expect luxury. The studio kitchenettes were very nice. May not be directly by the sea but one will be nonetheless and they can help you find privacy/quiet. more

Returned from Bonaire two weeks ago and it was all we hoped it to be. The Island, people, diving & Golden Reef Inn were great. We were unsure about staying at the Inn because the price was so much less than the other places we were considering but after talking on the phone to Liz decided to give it a... more

This is the second year I have spent time at the Golden Reef Inn Bonaire, and I love it. I look forward to staying there again. The place is nice, but not fancy or pretentious, very clean and well run. The price is a bargain. The owners are incredibly nice and helpful. Our package included pick up at the airport... more

We were shocked to see a couple of negative remarks as we have stayed twice at the GRI as well as other places on Bonaire. The GRI is a great value, comfortable, and a convenient location. Owners were very responsive to our needs especially with accommodating our general reservations when booking, unfortunate flight delay and transportation. Room was always clean,... more

We choose to stay at Golden Reef Inn due to the large number of people on several message boards whom had good/great experiences staying with Liz and Ed. Upon looking at their website we determined they had everything we would need as far as accommodations go and they used Wannadive as their dive shop. Working with Liz on the reservations... more

Stayed here twice in 2005, most recently a few nights in July/August. First trip in May was at the townhouses, very spacious and convenient to town with cold air conditioning in the bedrooms. The owners met us at the airport and left lots of information as well as basic groceries in the fridge until we could get our own. The... more

I stayed at Golden Reef Inn on Kaya Alkmaar in July 2005 and had a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the owners, Ed and Liz, couldn't have been better hosts. Although there were no staff on site, someone from the management would swing by several times a day just to check in. That sort of arrangement... more
