If you book what they call 'homestay' accomodation in Havana (what we Brits would call Bed and Breakfast and what they call Casas Particulares locally) you don't always end up in the one you (or your agent) reserved. They have a fairly relaxed attitude to over-booking in Cuba which is OK as they always will sort you out an alternative... more

We found Casa Dania through the lovely people at Casa Reymond and Raydel (see their review). Right from the start Dania, Giovanni (plus Charlie the Dachsund) made us feel as if we were part of the family. Our room was bright (freshly painted) and clean with a lovely en-suite shower room.
