Stairway to heaven After you’ve walked the rather steep stairways up to the second floor you enter a totally different world. Nothing reminds you any more of the drabness of Old Habana. You find yourself in a spacious refugium which is decorated with great taste and much love to detail. In this case reality is even nicer than what the... More

My boyfriend and I arrived in Havana, not really knowing what to expect from the city. Once we got out of the taxi and climbed the many steps (which aren't really a problem...) to the casa, we were welcomed by Leo. Leo showed us around the casa and gave us the low-down on things like breakfast etc. The room itself... More

Clean rooms, helpful staff (Leo, the guy who welcomed us, was actually the only English-speaking Cuban we met), good breakfast, air conditioning, open all night. The house is just 2 streets north Calle Obispo, which is more or less where the newest and most touristic part of the city begins. I would like to give tourists one tip (especially to... More

Very good location, not in the thick of the most touristic area of Vieja but very close...perfect. Leunam, the manager is very accommodating and speaks great English. The staff are salt of the earth and so helpful and friendly. The food they serve is top notch. The roof top bar and lounge area is a good place to hang and... More

I found the staff here very helpful. The casa has a great location and the meals are wonderful. I especially liked the mojitos that Fidel made for us on the roof. I highly recommend it. I booked it online and it all went smoothly

We stayed in Casa Habana for 3 nights and we couldn´t have asked for a better place to stay upon our arrival. Although we arrived late, there was staff to take care of us and explain how the casa functioned. I liked the fact that you could have breakfast any time you wanted, specially after a very long plane trip... More
