This is a the hotel yo stay if you really want to have the feeling of Havana...it's not the trendy place to stay or the most confortable but it worths trying. more

This wonderful old place is certainly a must to visit ...and maybe stay if you can afford the better rooms facing the water, but not if like us you are on a budget (ie the base rate rooms are much smaller and face the back). I think this hotel is loosing from it's historical value because of the huge number of "package" tourists which is hosting. Dirty rooms, dirty pools, many people who think they are Winston Churchill or a Mafia member.... Too commercial to be good. more
