I went to Cuba to do a Salsa Dancing tour and Havana was the first stop. The tour recommended this hotel and it was the worst first impression of Cuba and Havana. This hotel is too far away from town. each trip by taxi to town is approx GBP4. Don't expect 4 to 5 stars ratings on this hotel. My room was big & spacious. Bathroom leaking after shower. Date 7th March 2008. Very much a sort of up-market backpackers hotel. Had no choice but to stay here as all other hotels were full. Definitely a case of you get what you pay for.
