David helped us arrange very cheap transfers to Trinidad, Hemingway's residence and Havana airport. We couldn't get those prices when negotiating with travel agency and/or drivers directly. I recommend talking to him if you need any of those transfers. He also recommended us some bars and restaurants visited by local people, and that was really nice and different from touristy... More

David & Lidia are real professionals. They know how to host travellers. David speaks fluently english and french. He advices you how to discover Havana and gives a lot of other information. He has three houses, which are equally to another. Rooms are clean and spacious. It's not the Hilton, but for travellers it's very good to have a stay... More

Me and my partner stayed in this casa particular for the weekend on 6th and 7th April 2013 and the service was great. It was in the middle of all places we wanted to see and to go to. Nice rooms, good food for the breakfast, cheap.

My other half and I had a great time in Havana. David was very helpful and gave us great advice, as this was our first time traveling here. He speaks English and French in addition to Spanish so it was great being able to communicate in different languages. We stayed at his second guest house which is preferable because it... More

My wife and I had a blast in Havana staying at this Casa. The area looks a touch sketchy, but we had no issues walking at night. It's central to all major attractions and walking or bicycle taxi (1-2 CUC max) will get you most places. Breakfast was very sweet and very tasty. David was cool and was generous with... More

If you are looking into a total immersion in La Habana Centro, this is the perfect place. For one, the location will allow you to be in touch with the real environment and lifestyle of Cubans. Not your fancy neighborhood though, which is not a problem per se since La Habana is one of the safest cities of Central America.... More

Beautiful clean large room, excellent advice from David, a filling breakfast, and a great location in authentic and less touristy centro habana. A good choice !

We recently stayed at David and Lidia's house in Havana Center. David was very kind and helpful, he gave us some useful advices and he also parked our rented car. The breakfast was very good too. Thank you David. We had contact him by e-mail (diazdavidlidia@yahoo.es) and everything was perfect. We hope to come back again. Jose, Alexandra, Rita and... More

We visited Havana for a few days at the start of our trip to Cuba and again for a few more days at the end. Both of our casas were great - one was in old Havana and the other (David and Lidia's) was in Havana centro. We stayed at David and Lidia's casa at the end of our trip... More
