I've spent there 10 days with my wife. Location is one of the best in Havana as you're located in THE centre of the city (one street from i.e. La Bodeguita del Medio). Their bar serves one of the best Mojitos we've tried in Havana. Also the band that plays there was one of the better ones we've seen. This... more

The hotel was beautifully restored although clearly a few years ago... could do with a freshen up. I was fortunate to have a room with a balcony and it was a beautiful room. I liked the hotel which by Cuban standards was very good. Better by miles than the other one I stayed in! I liked the bar, the staff... more

Location. In the middle of old Havana. Rooms. Careful! We got a room with no windows, with a strong smell of mould and with the noise from the lift engine. The second day – after complaining – we got a beautiful spacious room with balcony. Tip; Ask for a room with balcony above the restaurant. Restaurant. We were hungry after... more

I went to Cuba, with some friends. We arrived on December, the 31st. We had booked (and paid) in advance 3 rooms in this hotel (more than 2 months before the trip). We even talked to the hotel manager before we went to check if everything was OK. When we arrived, we were told that they’d had a problem with... more

My husband and I stayed here in July 2008 for a week after booking through Thomas Cook's website as part of their 'local' expeditions. The vast majority of Thomas Cook clientelle tend to spend a short stay of 3 days in Havana and then transfer to the all inclusive resorts in Varadero. I got the impression we were considered quite... more

We stayed here for 3 nights on our arrival in Havana, and were not at all impressed. Our bathroom had no window so the condensation meant the ceiling constantly dripped water, and the whole room had a really strong damp smell. The patio was noisy with hotel staff making no allowances for guests who wanted to sleep any time after... more

I can be very short about this hotel. We booked a room with 3 beds. They only had 2 and they were crap. One of us actually had to sleep on the floor!! I guess that says enough about the servicelevel.... Avoid this place! more

The Tejadillo is unusual. You arrive via a run down street with people hanging around. Then you walk into a really nice hotel. The location is in fact really good and the 3 main squares are all just blocks away. The room we had was large and needed to be as we are a family of 4. Bathroom was OK... more

The location was great. We booked 3 doubles for our family for 3 nights. The rooms are quite spacious. All 3 had water leaks in the bathroom, which is real bad. Although there were no real windows, there was more than enough light at the doors. We had rooms in the left building and those rooms seem to have more... more
