First of all, I must say that this is a country full of contrast. If you travel with a backpack full of money you will have an amazing experience and this applies to Cuba as well. I stayed at the Servicio Real floor (19-22). The rooms are nicely decorated and include amenities such as shampoo, soap bar and enough towels... More

We stayed at this hotel twice and both times found it very comfortable, clean, and the staff very accommodating. No problem with hot water or power! It had all the comforts we expected and more! The breakfast buffet was excellent .The location was good. easy to get to old Havana.

Hotel is clean and fairly modern by Cuban standards. Nice big lobby, we tried to stay in the non-smoking areas of the bar. Service from all the staff was fantastic, really helpful and attentive, a $1cuc tip goes a long way! The rooms are spacious, beds are a bit hard (but i found it comfy), decent air con, iron and... This hotel chain, as most hotels in Cuba, is owned and operated by the state. You need to know this going in. The employees are, for the most part, very lovely. There is a strong security presense in the lobby. In fact, on our people-to-people trip, Insight Cuba set up a meet and greet with local university students. One student... More

This is a five star hotel, beachfront location, all luxury with excellent restaurants inside. My favourite was the Italian restaurant. It has a geat pool and a restaurant by the pool as well. The President of Brazil stays in this hotel when she goes to Havana.

Good Hotel, with many rooms, which means maintenance is not at its best. But is a good choice in Havana. Very nice breakfast area, rather expensive wifi (even at the lobby you have to pay!). You need transportation to the city centre which costs around 6 Euro. But yet, it is among the best options in Havana, a city with... More

Spent a week calling this hotel home. I was impressed. It was in the character of many of hotels in the Melia chain: Moderate Elegance. Very comfortable rooms. Very attentive staff. Little notes - not the personal ones- from the chambermaid were a nice touch. A bevy of restaurants awaited you - if you weren't dining elsewhere in Habana. Entertainment... More

After 3 weeks around Cuba staying in Casa Particulars we spent a week between this hotel and the Iberostar for a little luxury with visiting family. The Melia Cohiba is on the border of Centro and Vedado right next to the Malecon sea wall, so for those visiting to see the old town its a little out of the way... More

Stayed there 1 night in January, 2013. Very pleasant change from the Nacional (see previous review). Good wi-fi. Nice breakfast in Club Lounge. Great pizza in the italian restaurant, comfortable room, good pool. No complaints. Would stay there again.
