A beautiful building but the rooms are tired. The serivice at the front desk, reception bar and breakfast room was very un welcoming and unhelpful. The hotel is in a great location. A lovely old building, staff typically Cuban (very friendly, but rather unenthusiastic). Rooms a little tired, but full of character. The hotel's location is perfect-on the edge of the old town, and not too far from the sea-front. Leave any preconceptions or expectations of super-luxury behind, and you'll have a great time. More

Nice hotel, full of character. My room was huge and very nice. Location is also great for exploring centro and old Havana. Not sure why people complained about the staff. With the exception of a few bar staff everyone was friendly and helpful. More
