Just across the road from the Musuem of the Revolution, this hotel was all that I had imagined Havana to be - crumbling, slightly faded, a glimpse into the past and full of character. Yes, there was a bit of mould on the ceiling in the bathroom and the plaster work was a bit crumbly but with the high humidity,... more

I've stayed in three hotels in Havane the National, Hotel Flordia and the Sevilla is by far my favorite. It simply had a better atmosphere with freindly staff and good vibe around the pool. The hotel itself used to be very grand though a little tired, our room was good though the decoration was a bit old. The restraunt on... more

After having stayed in casa particulares the whole holiday we decided to treat ourselves to one night in a hotel. The rooms are a great size and have a fridge. Generally clean however we had problems with our aircon which was not good at this time of year when it is so hot. Thats when the pool came to hand!!!... more

We stayed 4 nights at the Sevilla hotel in Havana. As others have said the location is perfect - right in the central touristic area close to many landmarks. The hotel is charming and chic and captures the atmosphere of Cuba perfectly. We found the staff really friendly and helpful - as with everywhere in Cuba you need to make... more

I visited Habana with agroup of friends aand stayed in the Sevilla for 11 nights Great central location, could easily walk around old Habana from this hotel, 5 minutes from the Capital building, and 15 from the open market by the Harbour. Food in the hotel was a bit basic, breakfast a bit repetative, but saved by girl making omletes... more

We stayed as a party of 12 and our colective and individual experiences was very complimentary. Although room sizes varied and in our room we had no real outlook, it was clean, great sized bed and air conditioning that worked exceptionally well with a working fridge and safe. The bathroom was fine despite the shower fittings being old and unable... more

I had room 107 which was possibly the worse room in the hotel - window faced a brick wall and even at mid-day had to have the light on. My friends had very much better rooms facing the road but were double-glazed so little noise. All very good size rooms. The room was run-down and depressing, the sink (which had no... more

Cuba - or at least Habana Centro/Vieja - is not comaparable with other more developed destinations. This hotel is well placed for walkabout tourism daytime - and I booked a 1:1 guide through the excellent San Christobal agency but the streetlights don't work at night even on the Paseo Marti (the main road outside the hotel) so I ended up... more

We spent a couple nights at the Mecure Sevilla when we were in Havanna at teh end of our trip and it was amazing for a hotel in Cuba. You are right downtown with all of the nightlife and resturants and a short walk to the older part of Havanna. I would highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure. more

I had been recommended this hotel by my parents who stayed a couple of years ago. The location is fantastic. You are a 5 minute walk max from Parque Central, the Capitolio, Gran Teatro and museum of the Revolution and within a 10 min walk you are in the Haban Vieja (Old Town). This is therefore a great place to... more
