As a frequent traveller to various parts of Cuba, this has to be the most unfriendliest hotel in Cuba. The Caracol is situated amongst three other hotels- Mayanabo, Gran Club and Brisas Hotel. First Off, Let me tell you I am a female from Montreal, Canada, NOT from the country of Quebec. This was probably my 5th time at the Caracol and although there are a lot of changes going on, it is still the best place to go in santa Lucia. This was my first trip to Caracol, unfortuinatly I was sick for the first 4 days but between the staff and some of the regulars I still had a great time and hoping to return. My wife and I went to this resort with our 8 and 10 year old daughters based on its discription of a great beach and kids activities.
