Decided last minute to go to this resort with a co-worker for a week's vacation. I'd researched Costa Morena back in January, and was looking forward to going. We booked this trip 5 days before leaving and got a great price. This was my first time travelling with a friend. This "resort" is located right on the ocean, there is... more

With the variety of reviews, we didn't know what to expect when we booked this exceptionally inexpensive trip. We were pleasantly surprised when we pulled up in our bus. The rooms all face the ocean and have a little patio with chairs. The food was adequate. Some days were better than others, but there was always a couple of options... more

For the money spent, I don't think you can do much better than this. This is Cuba, hurricane damage, boring food and all, but the setting is scenic, the food is well prepared and the people are hospitable. The natural lagoon pool is great for snorkeling and the sea side bar boasts a master mixoligist. I wasn't expecting luxury, and... more

no hot water all the time; birds in the dining room defecating all over the place; horde of flies sitting on food; no beach but rocky ground; no tip no fish at the beach grill; no tip no mineral bottled water at the bars; no bicycles; 110V power despite advertised 220V. more

I found a last minute deal and went alone. Was not sure how it would work out. Sunwing was great - champagne for breakfast - works for me! The buses were all outside the airport on arrival and got to the hotel in good time. I was impressed that so many return visitors were being greeted by the staff as... more

Despite the reviews i read, we decided to go ahead and book it anyway, the price was just too good to turn down. We had our mind set expecting the worse, so anything above that would be a bonus. It was above and beyond anything we could have imagined. We booked through sunwing, the flight was on time, meal on... more

The surroundings are fine, the staf is great. BUT!!! No beach, just big rocks. A lot of local Cuban were ataying therl that is OK if they wouldn't hog all the food and toiletpaper. By the time we got to go for dinner, there was nothing left! We will not go back! Los Corales is a lot nicer, with better... more

I've been to Cuba 14 times -- as long ago as 26 years ago the first time! I have to say that you need to be somewhat tolerant if you decide on this resort since it's REAL Cuba (which I love). Its setting is absolutely breathtaking, the view especially, as every room opens onto the beach. It's wall to wall... more

This place is made of dreams! The staff serves you with a friendly smile each and everyday. For the price you pay it is truly a holiday away from it all! The sun shone all day everyday, the activities were lots of fun and the food was pretty good. The room, though alittle out dated, very very clean. If you... more

Sunwing flight from Toronto left on time. Arrival at Santiago de Cuba was $%^&. Our usual procedure is one gets the luggage, the other changes money. Unfortunately, cambio was in departures not arrivals; the security guard at the door would not let us through without all luggage! Finally got that sorted out and got our CUCs. The Sunwing rep was... more
