The hotel has better days, to much money for what you get, no elevator, etc. The breakfast was decent; the terrace is nice, perfect for a cigar and drink late at night. But if you can, go to another place.

Stayed here 2 nights and although it still needs some TLC, the lift is still under repair, thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This hotel is in a beautiful old building with ground floor marble terrasse that overlooks the central plaza (Parque Cespedes). The hotel is by Santiago's main square, Cespedes. A ground floor terrace overlooks the square and makes a lovely place to have breakfast, or listen to the daily excellent live music in the afternoon. We spent a night here in August as part of a trip, found it to be clean and felt safe. Rooms were okay, a bit dark and hot. Breakfast was acceptable, as was the evening meal and staff were freindly. Overall an okay stay.
