Casa Yisel may have at one point been a great place to stay in Santiago, but now you are better off going somewhere else. From their glowing reviews, here and elsewhere, we tried staying at this casa particular. Upon arrival we were told that we were unable to stay for the entirety of the days we had requested as others... More

Lovely casa in a great location. Within walking distance of everything in Santiago de Cuba. In a safe neighborhood. We were able to make our reservation directly by email in advance and confirm by telephone 2 says before. They arranged for our pickup at the airport and a taxi to take us back. We had a very nice & clean... More

The house is very close to Plaza Cespedes and within walking distance of most attractions in the Center of Santiago, they are very good hosts, the rooms are great, with TV and AC and private baths and the food they serve is simply amazing. They are very accommodating and fair. I had a mixed up in my reservation as I... More

My short review about this wonderful casa in Santiago de Cuba. I stay 2 whole months in Cuba as a backpacking tourist, so that I reach Santiago at the end of my trip. I was very glad that a family in Camaguey act as a broker, so that I find this lovely casa. When I reach Santiago with the Viazul,... More

we initially booked two nights. I confirmed a month in advance we would come. upon arrival they gave out the room to other travellers. We meet other foreigners who confirmed the day before arrival and had the same unluck. I complained . The host explained how normal it is to give the room away and make their cash. In 3 weeks... More

The room was adequate with a window into the patio area where the washing machine is, so keep the curtains closed. The shower is a drizzle but adequate. It is a bit noisy from next door's cockeral. We can highly recommend the breakfast and the dinner was of good proportions served on the roof top patio, overloooking the city. The... More

We initially booked for 2 nights at the casa, and were informed that they were doing construction works. When we arrived, Martin informed us that unfortunately the people who had booked the room for the night before had not checked out, and that they could not lodge us that night. We had to stay at the casa opposite, and would... More

We stayed here for 2 nights over new year. The food we had was amazing, the best in cuba by far!!!!!! Martin and Gisel were lovely hosts and did their best to make our stay good. The room was lovely and the ourdoor courtyard where we ate was beautiful, the room was spotlessly clean. The only downside to our stay... More
