I've been in that hotel for one week in April 2009. I think it was very good for the price. I paid only $550. My room was clean, the buffet was good but no much variety and was more local food than "american", but I loved it. It really depends on your needs, this one is a 2 star only.... more

I didn't expect much for a two star in Cuba so it was a bit better than I imagined in a way, but it all depends on what you're looking for. I booked then read the reviews and thought, 'great, what a huge mistake'. Let's start with the negatives. Something lurks in the rooms or comes in at night and feeds off the guests. This is a 2 star, rooms first night was horrible stayed in 21, next day got it worked out with sunwing rep for a bigger room with balcony, could see ocean from there. Room was much better but still only average. They always put new people in bad rooms so you have to keep at them. Most workers do not... more

Definitely not worth the money we paid. Does not deserve the 2stars. The hotel is very run down. Helpful Hint....Always carry toilet paper or kleenex with you around the resort, sometimes the bathrooms have it sometimes they don't.
