This Hotel is listed as a good budget choice for Varadero. Our room was in the rear building - not in the main building. Rooms are extremely basic and overpriced for what you get. Staff is unfriendly and not helpful at all. I would not recommend this Hotel. more

first room shown/ dark damp horrid.We were told for an extra 10 cuban convertables per night we could have a better room. it wasnt much better and still small and damp with paint off the wall but it did have a balcony. Maybe showing us the first room was abit of a ploy, because we paid up if very reluctantly.... more

We stayed at the Hotel Pullman for our forst 2 nights in Cuba. It was a good way to gradually get used to the change. Spent our evenings on the old colonial veranda watching Varadaro go by........everything from horse carts to Russian trucks. The hotel is clean, with a great veranda, nice patio and dining room. If your idea of a holiday is a clean, cheap place to stay near the sites then this is the place for you. It is about 40 CUC pesos a night. This includes breakfast.
