The hotel is tired, mouldy and damp. A few of the staff are helpful and pleasant, but the majority are surly, rude, and take forever to provide service. Stayed here for 2 nights because the Marriott overbooked us. The rooms were fair. The bed was hard as a rock and the bathroom looked very old. The worst part was they came and sprayed for bugs in my room and it stunk like insecticide the whole time I was there. I'm sure I lost a few brain cells there.... more

The Holiday Beach has the benefit of a terrific location. It is within a very short (three blocks) and very nice (along the marsh - lots of birds to see) walking distance of Otrabanda, the western downtown shopping area.
