Just wanted to add that we have been to this property now three times. We are a married couple with two kids entering their teen years. All of the family just loves Curacao and we would never consider staying anywhere other than this property. Don't expect the four seasons and just enjoy the comfortable surroundings. Beautiful resort location, great beach,... More

We stayed here for 7 fun nights. It's a very enjoyable island. Curacao is nothing like Aruba...even though they are the ABC Islands. The locals on Curacao are friendly and helpful.and seemed they were glad we choose their island to vacation on. The entire island felt very Dutch...and there was alot of folks visiting that were NOT from the USA.... More

I enjoyed my stay at the marriot! The staff was fantastic and did everything possible to make our stay memorable. Just some some of the corporate nickle and dime stuff was not pleasant. Like 14.95 per day for Internet, another 15.00 day service charges, not enough shuttles to downtown, not enough when you book as advised first thing in the... More

First of all, reading some of the reviews I wonder if we've been to the same place? Honestly, we didn't have enough hours in a day to explore everything this great hotel and the beautiful island has to offer, let alone to be crawling around the room looking if theres's a yellow spot under the sink? Really, do people actually... More

We stayed here over Christmas and for the most part were delighted with our experience. One of us enjoyed it so much he returned the following weekend for New Year's - enough said! The good: - loved the staff - sure, we were on island time, but that is exactly what I wanted and it did not matter one iota!... More

Rooms and carpet need serious work, same as bathrooms. The general conditions of the rooms are old and smelly. Filthy feeling on the room overall. The beach and the pool are great. Get up early to get a shade though. Need water sandals for the beach, especially for small kids. There was no refrigerator in the room. When we asked... More

We spent a week at the Marriott in November and loved it. I read the reviews before I booked, so I had a pretty good idea what we were buying. I was prepared for a sub-average room, but was pleasantly surprised - while the decor is certainly dated, it was clean, functional (other than a lack of drawers) and the... More

My family spent 5 nights at the Marriott around New Year's. The resort is absolutely beautiful from the open air lobby to the gorgeous private beach. We almost didn't book this hotel because of the negative reviews about the rooms, but we're glad that didn't hold us back. The room was a bit dated, but it was clean, spacious and... More

At first site it's everything you would want in a hotel. The location is great and the lobby has a great view of the pool and ocean. But looks canbe deceiving... We picked the Marriott because we are members and have never been disappointed. Our first problem started when we arrived and wanted to check-in. We arrived maybe 30 minutes... More

This place is just far enough away from the town to feel secluded, yet close enough to slip away for a few hours to shop or dine. We had a second floor beach-front room which was worth the extra cost for the views, which were beautiful even at night because of the lighting on the beach. It's a great place... More
