Roxy's has a Swiss ski chalet look about it inside and out, which seems a little out of place in Dominica. Nevertheless it's clean and comfortable. You're well away from Roseau, which is great. The best thing about Roxy's is that you can get to Boiling Lake and places in the park from here. Food is adequate.

It's a bit of a long haul to get here from Roseau over steep, narrow, and twisty roads, but if you enjoy hiking it is absolutely worth it. Stayed at Roxy's for four nights. Good place, clean rooms, attractive balcony. Excellent location for hikes (that said, there is nothing else to do around there). Only real compliant was the price of breakfast - 25EC *per person* for some fruit, bread, jam, and egg. Dinner was a lot more reasonable.
