Because of our schedule, our family spent only afternoons and some evenings at the hotel. So the large pool, tennis courts, basketball court and soccer field gave us many options to unwind. If your intent is to be active in the ocean or downtown, this may not be the best option. But it is in a safe location and conveniently... more

I just came back from there. The non renovated rooms are horrible. Really Old furniture, totally uncomfortable beds, dirty floor(even found a piece of nail from the previous guest, I guess). Tv didnt work, some lamps didnt work, "Fan" really loud and bathrrom dirty, even flooded when I walked in the room. Dont even think to order room service, the... more

They've been renovating this hotel for a couple years now. The catch is getting a renovated room. The renovated rooms are modern and comfortable (above average). The old rooms are 1970's and should be avoided (terrible). The first time I was stuck one night in the latter - short notice, internet fare. The second time, I made sure to "ask"... more

I stayed at the hotel while attending an event. The staff was very nice and the facilities were clean. I would not call it a 5-star hotel, this is more like your average US Sheraton or Radisson 3 1/2 stars or so. I had two problems during my stay: - The free in-room Wi-Fi was slow to the point of... more

My family stayed at this property for ten days while on a church mission trip. The location was perfect which was why we selected this hotel. We loved the pool. The service was attendtive. The lobby was attractive and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good. The rooms are badly in need of updating but were kept clean. This hotel... more

I just returned from a 4 day stay at the Fiesta. I wanted to stay in a nice neighborhood away from the usual tourist hotels. I was not disappointed here. The room and the bathroom were very nice. The bed(s) were clean, the view nice and the room was clean. I enjoyed the included breakfast (secured through the Fiesta website).... more

The hotel was not too bad, which surprised me. It was in walking distance from Malecon, and a quick taxi ride to the shopping districts. Breakfast was okay, nothing spectacular, but edible. The rooms were clean, the staff was nice...all in all...I'd recommend it. more

I have been in Sto Domingo two weeks at the Dominican Fiesta Hotel. My stay in that hotel has been unforgetable and very enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and all to eager to help which only added to the experience. The rooms are spacious and conformtable and the Hotel Casino is great fun. I highly recommend it. more

Excellent Hotel, Gorgeous Staff. First of all, please excuse my english mistakes I will for sure make writing this report. Where to start. For the money I do not expect: 1.Prostitutes to work out of the lobby. 2.To get trapped in the elevator on a daily basis. 3.To get food poisoning in the hotel restaurant. 4.To not find hotel staff having sexual relations in the gym. 5.Damp sheets and pillows that give rooms musty odors. 6.The front desk to hang... more
