I spent several days in Boca Chica (long story) but was extreemly impressed by the Joker Hotel. I am semi-budget traveler and have gone all over the globe. The rooms were huge, well equiped, cheap, and seriously clean...plus the staff was excellent. Roberto was freindly and very helpful. I highly reccomend anyone staying in Boca Cica to give this a look. The caveat...its about a 15 minute walk to the beach and next to the freeway. However, during my walks to/fro I got to see a more real look at Domincan life than just staying on the beach. Personally, I am much more attracted to little bits of adventure. So again, ask for Roberto, and enjoy your stay. more
