I saw some reviews on tripadvisor and I just wanted an inexpensive place to stay in Santo Domingo before heading to Bayahibe. A friend recommended this hotel to me after he heard of the horror stories I experienced at another hotel I was staying at. I have been twice in Alcaldeza during last year. It´s in the silent side street close and between main streets; Malecon and Independencia. Old city and El Conde are in walking distance.
