Wow we had a great time!!The beach is beautiful with waves on one side and calm like a swimming pool on the other. Walk down just a ways and snorkel. Rooms are disgusting, shower hardly worked. Food was even worse. Became seriously ill from the food, and stayed ill for one year after with a parasite. I wouldn't go back if you payed me. more

Had an "Attic" room (Junior Suite). Large room with 2 separate bedrooms, kitchenette and huge bathroom. Large closet but more drawer space would be helpful. My husband & I returned February 13th from 2 weeks vacation at the newly renovated Grand Paradise Playa Dorada. We arrived at the resort very late in the evening and were immediately given an oceanfront suite in Building 16. Problem!!!! Our suite door wouldn't lock and the air conditioning and TV didn't work.
