The service was great, really nice people and always there to help and to keep guests happy. The staff is always singing and make you smile. Location is good - just two minutes walk distance to the beach, which is fantastic. The room was very clean, the food was good, fresh. more

This is a 3 star hotel and never claimed to be a 4 star. It is great value especially for younger people and couples (or singles) who want to have fun. By law no hotels can be on the beach in order to preserve the natural beauty. Yes, it could be updated and the elevators were pitiful. The food is... more

2 Weeks at the Niaboa, 22nd August-5 Sept 2009. Hotel is definatly not a 4 star hotel. The rooms are clean but need updating. The hotel is generally clean and the staff are well presented if not a little laid back. The overall complex is well laid out with a five minute walk to the beach. The beach is the... more

Ideal location for teens and twens! Very loud music by the pool, Disco Pacha, open from 22.00 until 04.00! After closing you are allowed to leave a trail of emty glases and vomit to the hotel and let anyone there knoe you are back! Please, dont go here for your rest, good food. more

It's a normal hotel, maybe not a 4 star, the rooms are vey old, i recommend people not to stay in the 1st floor with back view, as there's a bad smell coming from a small marsh, we stayed in the 3rd floor and still we had a bit of that smell (have to be with windows closed). there's not... more

The Hotel: This was my second time staying at the Riu Niaboa. The hotel and the rooms are somewhat out dated, but who cares! We used this hotel just to sleep, shower and change of clothing... ohhh, yah and for breakfast. Since it is the Riu, you have the use of other facilities such as the Taino and Bambu, which... more

I had a nice time at the Naiboa. The entertainment group were awesome and they did a great job keeping everyone engaged in all of the daily activities. This group did a wonderful tribute to Michael Jackson that was incredible. The Naiboa however is the least nicest physcially of the other four (4) Riu properties. In my opinion only a... more

The location was perfect - long stretches of beaches you could walk down. The rooms are very close to the beach, basically you have a pool right out your door then a bar between to stop and get a drink at on your way to the beach.. less than 1 min walk. You don't need anything closer than this. Everything... more

if you think you've booked a 4*, think again! dirty sheets, extremely rude staff and a hotel thats falling appart, makes an extremely and wonderfully ruined vacation. Before considering riu take a look at other hotels, that will surely make a more pleasent stay. more
