The cocotal is an hour from Punta cana airport on bumpy roads. But well worth it when you finally arrive after a 9 hour flight from the UK. Rooms were much the same as Egypt and Turkey , same simple layouts bath toilet shower bed , this resort is aming towards the timeshare VIP market. Great waterpark $20 extra a... More

Having read all the bad reports about this resort I felt compeled to write one. We had a great time. The room was cleaned and fresh bedding, towels every day. We had 2bottles of water every day and soft drinks placed in the fridge. We did require some extra soft drink and just asked the maid and it was no... More

We sometimes hear about people who are stuck with noisy neighbors during holidays; some get awaken during the night by unrespectful party animals; some lose a day or two because of stomach problems; some others have to face overbooking in restaurants and are forced to eat at the buffet when they expected a little better; well, we got it all,... This was my husband's and my first vacation outside the US that was all-inclusive. The Sirenis was just "OK". I would probably not go back. The rooms were so-so, although we were able to walk out our door and down the steps to the beach. What is it with hotels not having kind or queen beds for couples? We had... More

Stayed with family at this hotel with an age range from 11 to 72 .The rooms are basic but cleaned regularly and the staff mostly friendly. Book the restaurants as the Tapenyake and the Italian Restaurants offered good choice. If offered the mamuwama try it as it's a local drink with supposedly aphrodisiac properties although i can't comment on that... More

Vacationed here from 4/21/12-4/28/12. Hit with a $10. entrance fee at the airport that I never knew about. Ride from the airport to this hotel is about an hour. Hotel grounds were very well kept & the hotel staff was very pleasant however other than the front desk, VERY little english was spoken by the staff. Most visitors were RUDE... More

Me, my husband and my daughter stayed here from 4/22 - 4/29....... Upon arrival they said my reservation was for 1 adult 2 children....not the case at all! Once that was fixed it was all down hill from there. Fridge in our room was warm, they are not generous with the bottled water at all, one liter per day was... More

The rooms left much to be desired... More

As usual you get what you pay for. I paid $105 per night so I didnt expect too much. This is one of those properties you go to when you dont have a lot to spend on a getaway and you spend a lot of time on the beach. I would not go to this resort if it were a... More
