My husband and I stayed at the Calabash Oct 14 -21. Picture links at the bottom of the review. Since we arrived on the red eye flight, we were greeted by the night security man who was extremely helpful in getting us situated in our room. We were in pool suite 20. Our suite had a sitting area in the... more

This was our third visit to the Calabash and once again we had a great stay. The location, food, and especially the staff are all excellent. This is a real ‘gem’ of a hotel and we shall most certainly return. more

We stayed a The Calabash from 8th to 22nd October. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome and taken straight to our suite which consisted of a large bathroom with whirlpool bath a seperate shower and bidet. The bedroom was nicely furnished and the bed very comfortable. A walk-in wardrobe had plenty of shelves and hanging space. The... more

The most memorable thing about The Calabash is the staff, their friendliness and helpfulness made our stay so enjoyable. They made our wedding day the most perfect day, one that we will cherish forever, apart from choosing which flowers we preferred the only things we had to concern ourselves with was getting dressed and arriving on time. The attention to... more

Our Shangri La - Managrment and staff are superb and friendly. Bruce Bairnsfather's Old Bill put it succinctly - "If you knows of a better 'ole, go to it!" We don't. more

We have just returned from two weeks at the Calabash and had a fabulous time. The hotel was in a very peaceful location with a lovely beach, cleaned daily. The food in the Rhodes Restaurant was amazingly good with loads of choice. Breakfast on the balcony (also from a large choice) was delicilous. Afternoon tea of sandwiches and cake was... more

My wife and i have just returned from 2 weeks in the Calabash, staying B&B in a Superior Room. We had a special time, and would not hesitate to recommend it for a quiet, relaxing but interesting break. We agree with all the positive sentiments in the other reviews on this site, but would pick out two aspects in particular.... more

Just come back from 2 weeks at the Calabash with a teenager. Location fab on secluded bay with yachts to watch and away from the hubbub of Grand Anse. Hotel food top quality, cooked to perfection and making use of local produce. The lightest sponge cake and doughnuts at afternoon tea to die for! Staff friendly and always willing to... more

Having just returned from our holiday/wedding/honeymoon at The Calabash Hotel I would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to be married on the beach and in delightful surroundings. The arrangements for our wedding went like a dream - no hitches at all - even the sun was shining. Everything at this hotel fully lived up to our expectations. The accommodation... more
