My wife and I have visited Guadalope three times- initially for part of a day during a southern Carribean cruise - that prompted us to go back for an 8 day visit to Ste. Anne and most recently we spent 11 great days on the island of Marie Galante. We prefer apartment type accomodations that allows us to make our own breakfasts and other meals or tapas, if and when we feel like it. After some internet research and email enquiries to operators of vacation accomodations that looked interesting, we chose to book apartment F2 at le soleil levant sur les hautes des Capesterre. When we arrived in Marie Galant, we were delighted to find our choice of accomodations was great - well equipped - clean - everything worked - very spacious - a deck off the bedroom that overlooked the ocaen- air conditioning in the bedroom - reasonably priced.-two swimming pools on site etc. On the slightly negative side the four piece bathroom was not quite up to North American standards (ie flushing the toilet... more
