During my visit to this resort,I felt very relaxed. The beach was gorgeous. The food was good also. There was one server in particular that welcomed us with warmth and friendly. His name was Emanuel I believe. We always talk about how nice he was to us on our visit there. While everyone else was barely working he made sure to notice us.I really like that.I... During my trip to Haiti in February we decided to visit Wahoo Bay for a relaxing day at the beach after working for 4 days. While we were there we had the opportunity to jet ski, swim, drink, and eat amazing food at a very reasonable price. Getting access to the beach/hotel for the day is 20 dollars a person.... More

Wahoo Bay was a great beach resort. The beach was clean, water was clear, and there pool was warm. There are jelly fish in the water out past the roped area so be careful. You can barter pretty easily with the men taking you on boat rides, especially towards the end of the day. There are several people there selling... More

After a much anticipated visit to the Wahoo Bay resort, we were very pleased with beach itself...It was breathtaking! We really liked our room. It was big, clean and the big balcony was a very nice surprise. The water at Wahoo was clear, cool and very picturesque. The grounds were well it and beautifully decorated with lots of island flavor. The... More

Generally speaking, at a beach hotel you should want to be more outside enjoying the sun and the sand than inside your room, but it should't be a want to AVOID your room... The rooms we had when staying here were extremely dated, mildew-y smelling and basically screamed "Meh". Adding to the underwhelmment was the slow service, even when fully... More

Undiscovered beauty... We stayed here last year and had a wonderful time. The beach was beautiful and clean. Food by the beach included fresh seafood such as lobster, lambi (cunch) at a very decent price. This beach is not like some other caribbean beaches, crowded and loud. It was very peaceful and at times, only few other tourists were there.... More

We spent a few days at Wahoo in Feb 2013. The resort itself is lovely. It could use some upgrades (loud A/C units, leaky showers, thin towels) but the rooms are big with great balconies overlooking the ocean. The pool area is breath-taking and has a nice little playground next to it for kids. There are lounge chairs around the... More

We are in the process of adopting and to the stage where we can travel in country but not yet bring our daughter home to the states. We went down for a quick visit, and my husband, 7-year-old and I took the baby to Wahoo Bay for the weekend. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised - with a few notable exceptions.... More

What a stunningly beautiful place, on the same strip as Kaliko and Ouanga resorts: mountains overlooking the beach. This one has only $15 entry for a beach day pass. Food is good and not too expensive. Small beach area and top 40 music blaring. Like most places in Haiti - service is dismal, so order early so you're not hungry.

After having been living and working in Port au Prince for 8 months building The Irish Embasssy Bar & Restaurant and not having visited the beaches, our first staff event, 2 days and a night in Wahoo Bay Beach Hotel was eagerly awaited. The place did not let us down, the staff were friendly, the beaches straight out of Pirates... More
