Villa Bella is back under the management of its owner and she has spent the last year painting and renovating the hotel. We had two rooms, one in the annexe and one upstairs in the main building, the more expensive option. Both were fine, the one upstairs larger with a bigger bathroom. There was no hot water....the room was not prepared. This is one place I would never stay again. more

villa bella was leased from april 2001 to october 5 2007. we reopened on the 4 april 2008. I can not recall this lady stay, but would be happy t o reimburse her if indeed she stayed here on the time specified. I ran villa bella for 12 years prior to the lease and have never had one bad revue....

We spent one night here as we were traveling through Jamaica by car. We found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful and friendly, and we were charged the local rate ($50ish), which we did not expect. We paid US $96 for B+B at this hotel (Dec 2004) based on its web site. It is NOT worth it. We had no hot water and breakfast was chaotic. Its location is certainly pleasant (nice gardens and on outskirts of Christiana). They are clearly aiming it up-market but are failing miserably!
