Stayed more than 20 nights at the Courtleigh, Spacious rooms, free WiFi. Good restaurant but in general slow service. They have a small gym but it works just fine. I prefer Courtleigh before Pegaus due to the better rooms.

Okay, so you are in Jamaica – surely we are talking sandy beaches, laid-back bars and day trips to Dunn’s River Falls?
Unless you are in Kingston on business, of course. Let’s face it – Nobody goes to Kingston on vacation, even under the influence of UB40’s most evocative lyrics. On your business trip there will be no beach and...

I stayed in The Courteligh for 3 wonderful days. The rooms are spacious and bathrooms are good. Some rooms have balconies and mine had one. I sat there every morning savouring the Jamaican weather and the coffee. the sun rise was very nice to watch. I am a vegetarian and the restaurant was not very helpful in getting some thing...

I'd like to comment on the great service I received at the Courtleigh. I had left my expensive earphones in the room after my departure and called the hotel from the airport letting them know where I left them and that I would be back in Kingston for business in a month or so. I did not hear back, but...

My stay here was comfortable and pleasant. The hotel pool was ok. The resturant sourunds the pool. So If you don't like a crowd watching you swim or sun bathe. I though the food was a little expensive. The rooms were nice but the room safes were not large enough for a laptop.
I much prefer this hotel to the other 2 major hotels that I stayed at previously in New Kingston. The bathroom was big and nicely fitted. Great service, the staff is amazing, attentive and friendly. One area of improvement, I think they could improve the mattresses and pillows, to make for a better night sleep. There was complimentary breakfast, with...

Kingston is not the most cosmopolitan city on the planet - in fact most of it is very third-world. Very crowded, horrible traffic, (especially when it rains) and lots of poverty/slum areas. However, if you have to go there, the Courtleigh is pretty nice for a renovated older hotel. The rooms are fairly big, and most of the bathrooms now...

I have tried other hotels on my trips to Kingston but keep going back to the Courtleigh for its consistency. Its well-maintained with helpful staff and have made an effort in the last year or two to improve the free breakfast offered. You'll like the Courtleigh if like me you don't like big hotels. I also had the misfortune to...

I recently stayed at this property and it was one of the most pleasant hotel stays I have experienced. The service was comparable to any five star property in the world. The front desk, maintenance, housekeeping and the restaurant staff all can be used as examples of service excellence for the hospitality industry in Jamaica and the world.
Review on Courtleigh Hotel
Feb 14-20
During my recent visit to Kingston on February, I stayed again at the Courleigh Hotel. Despite some reviews about noise due to renovation, I did not experience any problem or inconvenience due to it. When I inquired about it, the front desk staff informed me that work would only take place after 9:00 AM...
