I have stayed here once or twice a year on business for more than 15 years, and keep coming back. I tried the Hilton across the street just once, but I am back here, so I guess that says it all. The Liguanea went through a bad patch a couple of years ago but is now right on the button.... more

This lodging was very nice. I enjoyed my time here and so did my husband. The center of New Kingston is just a walking distance away. There are 24 hr security guard. The grounds are beautiful and very family friendly with swimming pool, tennis, and many other sporting facilities. more

This was my first stay at the Liguanea club with my wife, daughter , sister and other relatives. We came to celebrate one of my sister's 90th birthday and to conduct business. The LC worked wonderfully as we could walk for all we needed. The breakfast and lunch served at the club was fantastic. I can't stop talking about it.... more

The Liguanea Club was reccommended where I lodged for 1 week. Although, the hotel facilities were not as expected, I found the prices at the hotel and restaurant to be somewhat moderate for the New Kingston area. It's clear to see that at one time this was a nice place to stay, but it has been allowed to deteriorate over the years. It is a members' (squash club) owned facility, and they do not want to put the funds into keeping the accomodations respectable. I stayed at the Liguanea (Lig-an-ee) for seven weeks in January and February. The Liguanea is located in New Kingston so it is very close to a lot of businesses and shopping.
