The Terra Nova is built around a 1920s era house, formerly the home of one of Jamaica's leading business families. It has expanded somewhat to include a casino, but it retains almost all of its original charm. I was not disappointed. Upon arrival I was upgraded to the royal suite.... this hotel rivals any of the 5 stars I have stayed. As this was at the end of a two-month visit (yes, two months, all over Jamaica!) we have the advantage of being able to compare it with many other places.
