Many thanks to my sister Patricia Carr for recommending Medallion Hall for us to stay while we attended her daughter's wedding on April 7/2013. The location was ideal and convenient to Kencot SDA Church as well as the many attractions around Kingston. The staff was very friendly, hospitable and most accommodating. We asked for lime-leaf tea (LOL) and they went... More

I almost did not use the Medallion Hall Hotel and Conference Center (MHHCC) because of the negative reviews I had read. From the moment I walked into that establishment I was treated with kindness and respect. I am very glad that I did choose to use the hotel to host my wedding cocktail hour and reception. First, the staffs were... More

It funny how we may view things without experiencing things ourselves. I stayed at Medallion Hall Hotel 3 weeks ago. Though it is not a tourist resort property, the hotel was clean, staff friendly and the location excellent. The dining room staff was hospitable, Steve, Ann-marie and I think her name was Camaia or Camelle. Breakfast is continental with an... More

The location is excellent, within walking distance to various attractions.Comfortable, homelike atmosphere. We visited for two weeks. We had a room next to a balcony which was nice to experience the sunrise and sunsets. The room was clean with housekeeping services daily. The staff was pleasant and accomodating paying keen attention to meeting our needs. The cost was reasonable and... More

Stayed here during a quick business trip, had stayed here many times in the 1990's when I traveled more often for business to the Island. This used to be a good little B&B, not really a hotel. The staff used to be pleasant and friendly. Compared to my recent experience, the staff is rude and not attentive, especially the woman... More

> Noisy - late hour receptions and odd timing conferences and being right next a set of stop lights is the icing on the cake. >Substandard service - front desk closes at 11pm......WHY???? Making outside calls on the room phone is a hassle. Some rooms only have ONE key and your room does not always get cleaned daily. Staff needs... More

An intruder tried to get into the room around 3:00 am the last morning of our stay. Windows were quite loose. Thank God I was awake praying. If I was asleep God only knows what could have happened. When we pulled the curtain back suddenly and scream we came face to face with the intruder with only the shakey window... More

The place is in need of some improvement..although from what I've seen, they're working on it. The continental breakfast is rather small, the rooms feel musty and operating the tv is annoying as the remote controls aren't properly set up. There were some some spots in the bathroom and overall it isn't a good value for the money.

This had to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. They had conventions every night so it was always loud and busy. When we left and returned back to the hotel there was no parking spots. The walls were dirty with chipped paint. The furniture in the rooms was worn and old. The chairs and floor were dirty.... More
