Sunset Jamaica Grande Resort was good in some ways and terrible in others. We went there for our honeymoon, which was our own mistake because it is more of a family/children's resort with screaming kids everywhere... far from romantic! We stayed at The Sunset Jamaica Grande from Sept 18-23, 2008 and loved it, everyone were friendly and caters to your every need. Based on all the negative reviews. After seeing some of the reviews for this hotel I was a little apprehensive. I was pleasantly surprised!!! I did not want to come home - it was excellent! We stayed at the Sunset Jamaica Grande from 4th-11th September and although, yes there are some improvements that could be made in the resort, this in no way affected our enjoyment.
