We went to the RIU to get married. We researched A LOT of hotels and picked this one and I feel it was a great decision. Our wedding was remarkable and the pictures we got were amazing! Everyone always comments on how beautiful they are...it's hard for them not to be concidering the location. Everything was set up and went... more

We went to the Riu in Ocho Rios in late June and early July with two teenage boys. We had a great time! The trip from the airport at MoBay was the only real negative and that was due mainly to our tour company - Tourwise. We sat at the airport for over 45 minutes while all the other buses... more

My family & I had a great holiday here. Was everything perfect. No. But from what I saw the staff here made a huge effort in each of their duties for guests to enjoy the experience. We never went to the Riu with the preconception we'd be waited on like Lords n Ladies, but we did meet some great people,... more

We were at the Riu from the 14th through the 21st of June, 2009. Our stay was great. The water and beach was clean. The rooms were always clean, as well as the linens. We usually do not use the pool much, but from what I could see it was clean. We went in one time to the bar. The... more

If you want to spend your money wisley go to Riu Palace in Cancun. Riu in Cancun service is far better than Riu in Jamaica. I will never go back to Riu in Jamaica. more

Our group went to the ROR in the middle of June. The weather was perfect, only rained a couple of hours on the first day. This is a huge resort, the biggest i've every stayed at in 7 all inclusive trips between Mexico, Dominican Republic and now Jamaica. The lobby was a nice open air setting as you walk in.... more

We stayed here in the middle of May - it rained for most of the week! The trip from the airport took us first past the Iberostar complex and then the new Bahia Principe - we have stayed in hotels of all three groups previously. The Riu cost about two thirds the cost of the others – hence we were... more

Stayed at RIU June 21 to June 28. This is a great resort. It is exceptionally clean. The beach is excellent and so is the food. I cant imagine anyone not finding lots to eat at the dinner buffet. The food was hot or cold as it should be, waitress and/or waiters were very good. Booked all tours right there... more

Our family of 10 traveled from 6/22-6/28/09. The price was great, the resort needs some adjustments. For ex: the beds and pillows are the absolute worst - rock hard, there is no air conditioning in any of the restaurants, disco, casino, etc... unless they were just trying to conserve energy, but it seemed like all common areas rely on an... more
