This hotel is quiet but too quiet. The rooms are scary and disturbing. The ceiling is patched all over pray to God that when you stay the rain doesn't fall! The rugs are dirty. Crystal Ripple Beach Lodge is definitely a place to "relax" -- because it's so far from everything that's all you can do! Taxis to town (2.5 miles) are $20 roundtrip (mind you, locals pay about $3.00 RT), and there is only one restaurant within walking distance (unless you go to Shaw Park Hotel and pay astronomical prices for a meal).... more

I think this hotel of 20 rooms is for the people coming to JA that are not looking for the tourist type environment.
