Stayed at SATP June 9-16 for my honeymoon and had a blast! The resort has a great "rustic" feel to it, yet has all the amenities. The rooms are well decorated, love the balcony with table/chairs and daybed. The buffets were good, sit-down restaurant was excellent, but small portions. The pool and beach were never crowded, be sure to eat... more

What can I say. This was the most beautiful paradise I can remember experiencing. We spent our honeymoon at SATP. From the time we arrived at the hotel, we were treated like royalty. Cool towels and a fruity drink started it off. No problem with check in - we arrived early and it only took them less than an hour... more

The resort is absolutely aesthetically pleasing. The decor is distinct and beautiful; open air and the feeling of no walls. My wife loved the pool and the beach. The staff, for the most part, was great. We really enjoying Garth - his smile lit up the day. HOWEVER, one of the bartenders, Rory, made some passes at my wife when... more

Long awaited and well worth it!! All staff were extremely helpful and friendly particularly Ian the pool guy, Leonie at the beach grill and not forgetting Omar & Garth at the bar. From food to drinks we had no problems - no stomach upsets what so ever even with drinking the local water, having the ice and eating the salad,... more

We were pretty sure we picked the right resort after doing a lot of research before we booked. We were a little concerned when those sickness reviews surfaced a couple of weeks before we left, but all of our concerns were quickly swept away when we set foot on the resort. Sunset at the Palms is an amazing resort. The... more

I was worried about going to SATP due to the negative reviews and I have to say that I had a very postive experience! The room was beautiful....and the staff was amazing..from the front desk (Kerri) to the Beach Grill (Leonie) to the maintenance (Alvin) to the gardener (Shorty) and the many charming bartenders....everyone was funny, helpful, and went out... more

We arrived at SATP on 18 May. We were exhausted after a 4 hour delay in the UK and a 9 and a half hour flight, we arrived at 10.30pm local time. On arrival we were given much appreciated cold towels and a welcome glass of punch, check-in was fast as the staff were aware of our delay. We were... more

We absolutley loved our stay at Sunset at the Palms. We went for a short honeymoon immediately following our wedding and were looking for a quiet place to relax with a little bit of privacy. And this was perfect. We requested one of the newer cabins further away from the road (had cabin 709) From our balcony, we could only... more

We landed in Montego Bay and after a pretty quick trip through customs, we were promptly met by our driver. The ride to SSAP took about an hour and 15 minutes. You see a lot of the countryside during the drive and go through small towns as well. It is somewhat harrowing because there are no sidewalks to speak of.... more

My husband and I traveled to SATP 5/17-22 to celebrate my 50th birthday. It was our first time in Jamaica and I can't say enough about the Jamaican people. They are the most friendly people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and I have traveled extensively. They know that tourism is their business and that you must keep the... more
