Just returned from our first trip to Jamaica. We will not return. Negril is 90 minutes minimum from Mo. Bay and it took us 2.15 hours in traffic to reach the resort. Choose a cab that has a red plate on the front of the car (or JUTA stickers in the windows) as these are government run cabs. We paid... more
Booked through Global Connections the property was described as a first rate condo. It was at best a 2 star and perhaps more fittingly a 1.5 star property. The Beach Club is an older property in terrible disrepair and poorly maintained. I knew we were in trouble when we walked into the small and dated lobby with vinyl covered furniture.... more
My parents have own a timeshare at the Negril Beach Club (for over 10 years), so I have been there many times. My last visit was January 2005.
