I was there speaking with family in America and was told to stop talking loud by a drunk guest. When I told him to stop speaking to me one of Alfred waiter had the nerve to threaten to hit me multiple times while other employees just stood there and enjoyed the commotion. They are the worst and unprofessional people I have ever encountered in the industry. I will never return to Alfred neither would I recommend anyone going there unless you want a belligerent employee threatens to fight you if you don't shut up.

Restaurant was not terribly busy. However, only one woman working the bar/restaurant area. She was very cheerful, kind and efficient! Food was amazing. Jerk chicken, fish, curry were all on point! Very highly satisfied with the experience and ocean view!

Best breakfast in Negril! The owners are incredible friendly and welcoming as are the staff members. They were very conscious of COVID-19. Staff members wore masks and our temperatures were taken on arrival. We were also asked to use their hand sanitizer on arrival. A must go place when visiting Negril!

I have been there in 1982 Alfred was a charming windsurfer(dj, music lover) and his 4 years daughter photo material. At (then) round bar had few nice Stripes and huge spliffs in the after sailing sessions. Pitched my tend between the bangalows and enjoyed Alfry s mama chef creol recepices. Rita Marley was hanging there sometime also. Thumbs up! Real Jamaica no problem!

The restaurant has some great food and is one of the more reasonably priced ones on the 7 mile beach. There was also entertainment on the night we went which was brilliant. The cocktails are also very well made. Worth a trip for dinner. 👍

Just spent two weeks here and loved it! Right on the beach so perfect to lounge around all day and relax. There is a really great restaurant and bar there as well with very friendly staff, and they have live reggae three nights a week.

Went for an early dinner. Food was awesome but forget anything else. Spilled first half of the first round of drinks. Waited over ten minutes for the replacement with no apology.Dinner served with attitude and waitress ran before we could ask for another round. Never saw her again until we asked for bill almost an hour later. More attitude! No more for me, thanks.Based off of some other reviews, I am not alone....guess they dont care.

We had the Best vacation ever in Negril, Jamaica. We went to relax and have fun and that we did. Spent much of our mornings at Alfred’s Ocean palace. The breakfast every morning were awesome. After breakfast we would sit for hours doing nothing and we did that very well. I managed to read 2 books this year. Between reading and running in the sea for a swim took up our mornings. We met some very nice folks from all over. The lunch and dinner were very good as well. Great evening music on certain nights and just an overall good place to hang out.

We ate there a couple of times and also had breakfast at Alfred's. The location is amazing, as it this right at the beach. The food/drinks/breakfast were always pretty good! What bothered us every time was the service, the waitresses were the most unmotivated people we have ever seen. If you have any questions about the menu the just look at you and don't really care, and how about giving people like 10 seconds to look at the menu do decide what they want to have instead of standing right there beside us and pressuring us to decide quickly. The first time we were there the waitress just came with the check even though we didn't say anything about wanting the check yet. Yes we know it's Jamaica and everybody is laid back here but there is a huge difference between being slow and being unfriendly.…

I always enjoy sitting and having a cocktail or 2 and listening to the music and the waves crashing on the beach! Don't miss the opportunity to stop by Alfred's!!! One of the places to be sure to visit!
