My friend went to Jamaica for the 1st time in January 2004, upon her return she wanted to go back IMMEDIATELY because she loved it so much and having never been there I agreed to go along. On her 1st trip she did one of the all inclusive deals, so this trip we decided to do things differently. We stayed at La Kaiser's from Feb. 19 through Feb. 24, 2004. The rooms were nice. We stayed in a standard oceanview and gardenview rooms. No ammenities to speak of other than air and cable t.v. The pool and the view were spetacular! We were the ONLY guests on the property for most of our stay. There is a GREAT place across the street for breakfast and another great place for dinner which is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel that has the BEST JERK CHICKEN & LOBSTER.
The service in the hotel was not anything special to mention. It was very nice, but now that I have been back a second time already and stayed a couple other places, I know there are better hotels with better... more
