For anyone lookiing for a stress free and relaxing vacation, Freedom Villa is a perfect choice.
John and Anita, proprietors, are the best host and hostess you could ask for. The rooms are very clean, as well as the common rooms. I was aware that there is no air conditioning in the rooms, and never missed it! The ceiling fan was more than adequate to keep us cool during the heat of the day. A large, fully equipped kitchen was perfect for cooking meals and having early morning coffee. The villa's "watch dog" Maya, and "watch cat" Bogo are very friendly and were no bother at all, as they are well trained. (Well, at least as well trained as a cat can be) John and Anita are wonderful people, always available for questions or requests. Paulette, the housekeeper is part of the "family" and will gladly help with requests.
