I'm not sure the year, late 90's I think. We stayed at Fern Hill and dined at Dragon Bay. We loved it and said when we went back to Jamaica we'd stay there for sure. I read a not so good review about Dragon Bay and I was shocked. They should have Red Flags up when people are inquiring about Port Antonio, ya know? It is not for everyone. They should have a do not go if...... and so on. It is very romantic and full of culture and it is not a place where your rent a car and do your own thing! I would recommend you have a guide the entire time and you wont be dissapointed. I would never go their without a guide! It's just not real safe and with a guide you are taken to places you want to go to and not where you shouldn't, ya know what I mean? Not for kids or boozers!
