I travelled to Portland July 8th -12 2007. The purpose of this trip was to photograph various properties as well as visit local attractions. I stopped by Yahimba on long bay, in Portland. The restaurant has recently added a small paved parking lot (no more parking alongside the road). This casual restaurant is an open air palapa with delightful ocean... more

I went as a sole traveler to Yahimba Restaurant and Beach Cottages. Long Bay. The food was delicious cooked by Craig the cook and I was very well looked after by Janet and Shellica - front of house. I went for a week March 1st 07. The security was excellent , with the security man Gilbert whom takes walks around... more
