This place was wonderful OTHER than one thing. It was advertized to be good for up to 5 people. We had 4, and the main bed was VERY comfortable, the sofa bed slumped in the middle but was ok, but the other "bed" was a fold out chair that was VERY uncomfortable and needs to be replaced if it is... Caleta 64 is the best hotel I've ever stayed in, and I've been to a lot of relatively high end B&Bs and hotels ($400+ per night) in the US, Europe, and the Caribbean. Here's the quick summary on why I am in love with this place: 1. Location: On a quiet side street in Old San Juan (Banyan trees, cobblestone... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights before a cruise out of San Juan. The apartment was clean and full of amenities. The Property owner was very nice and helpful. The unit also has a washer and dryer which really came in handy because we were traveling very light. The unit also had a flat screen TV with Satellite, a... More

Caleta 64 is next door to The famous El Convento, costs less tan half the price, and offers a totally different experience of Old San Juan. Of the several apartments available in this authentic, old Spanish-tiled residence, we chose the one in front on the second floor with twenty foot ceilings and huge wooden doors out to our own private... Caleta 64 (we stayed in the Ballajá apartment) was everything in lodging that we could ask for in Old San Juan. Halfway up the block from the famous San Juan Gate, Caleta 64 is close to everything: great restaurants, shopping, trolley stops. Quiet, residential, safe (near the Governor's Mansion) street; a clean, well-appointed, spacious apartment with 14' ceilings. My husband... More

We stayed at Caleta last week and absolutely loved the apartment and the location! Gorgeous woodwork and amazing views along with incredible experiences of local cuisine, customs and historical charm. Were able to attend mass in the cathedral just up the cobblestone road. Dined at wonderful restaurants like La Princessa-fabulous dessert! Can't say enough about staying right in old San... More

This being our first trip to Old San Juan, we did not know what to expect. We loved it more than Charleston, SC. Loved it more than Key West (our favorite). Words could never express the beauty of this town.Caleta 64 is on one of the most beautiful streets in OSJ. The owner (Betsy) is such a lovely person! The location... More
