Internet ready, clean rooms, free coffee at the reception area. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beach is about a 10 minute walk. Eateries all around, some affordable, some a little on the upper scale. Walgreens is 5 minutes away. I don't know how much more you can ask for a budget place. This hotel was very clean and within walking distance (5-10 min) to Walgreen's, a gas station, and many restaurants. This hotel is located right in the heart of Condado, two blocks away from the happening Ashford street, 4 blocks away from the Condado beach and 5-10 minute walk from most eats, pubs and shopping places in Condado district. All at an affordable price. The hotel is clean, no frills....but great location for a budget stay. Very friendly staff. more

We were staying here for one night before our cruise departed. As others have noted, this is not a 5 star hotel, but it is perfect for its purpose. Newly renovated hotel. I highly recomend. I stayed there once when it was just El Portal and that place was a dump. Quality Inn did a fantastic job with the renovations, and the price of the room is well worth it. Its a place for budget travellers but not a budget accomodation. more

We stayed for free with Choice Rewards and the rooms were ok. Very clean and soft sheets but there was no hot water (luke warm) and the shower didn't drain. The area is a bit ghetto with people hanging around the check-in area. It was quiet and they do have breakfast. more
