This place is beyond horrible. This place should be shut down and not open to the public. The people that work here or own this place are literally evil. I stayed here for a few days and the first night I was so tired from my trip and walking around the Island that when I got back to the room... more

Before addressing specific issues - I am the manager of Coqui Inn and personally called the police when this guest and her daughter became abusive and destructive in our lobby at checkout time while other guests were there as well. As the police approached, they jumped into a white van and left the premises. It took my employees and myself...

We found the Mango Inn to be neat and clean. It had a friendly and helpful staff. It had comfortable lobby, courtyards and clean pool. It's in the middle of a nice neighborhood across from the beach. it's also close to good neighborhood shops and restaurants. more

This place is disgusting. My husband and I walked in to a dark, stuffy room with stains on the wall and a bathroom that would make you want to use the bushes. The bathroom had 1 light, when we turned it on it was no brighter than a nightlight, probably so you couldn't see the filth. Next, my husband turns... more

This review was written prior to Coqui Inn purchasing The Mango Inn. Coqui Inn purchased the building that had been operated as The Mango Inn and closed the hotel during October 2007 for a complete renovation. We have now reopened with all rooms and public areas being renovated. We've added new tile floors, new air conditioners, refrigerators in every room,...

We needed a cheap hotel close to the airport for the night before an early flight. The Mango Inn met our requirements well. The room was clean and nice. It had A/C (necessary in San Juan) and cable TV, as well as parking. It is just on the other side of the freeway from the beach, so you just have... more

We stayed at the hotel because we wanted a cheap place close to the airport for one night coming in after a late flight at the beginning of our trip. The Coqui Inn is the new name for Casa Mathieson and the Green Isle Inn combined. We stayed in the Casa Mathieson side (the Green Isle building is just down... more

Nice hotel with pool, big rooms with private bath, nice front desk staff. The "continental" breakfast is included but it is only coffee and sweets! At the pool is also a wending machine, microwave, oven, thats great. Our pool area was unfortunately a children playground. The air condition in the room is cooling well, but it is noisy. We shut... more

My two daughters (20,17) and I stayed at the Coqui Inn, Thursday, April 19th for one night pre-cruise. After having read previous posts, I was a little apprehensive, but willing to give it a shot. What a pleasant surprise. We found the staff to be very friendly, the rooms clean and well maintained, and the pool area immaculate. If you... more

Clean, comfortable rooms in a charming typical European or Central American Inn. Easy walk to a great, local breakfast (all the locals there) or to the casinos and beaches. Staff was courtious. Clientel Caribbean folks and colorful; good lobby watching! We are going back this year. A great place for the money. more

If you are doing San Juan on a shoestring, the Mango Inn will not disappoint. Sure, the view from your room may be obstructed by a billboard and the faucet might drip all night, but for $75 you can't beat it. If you are reasonably low maintenance this is definitely worth it. - Submitted by a girly girl. more

As I sit in the lobby using the FREE wireless internet connection, My thoughts are of the bad reviews the Blue Bloods put on this site. I have stayed at some of the best hotels in my life time and had not the relaxed feeling that I have now. The staff is wonderful, and the rooms are clean. Gloria who... more
