I was reluctant to write this review because I didn't want to let this wonderful little secret out of the bag; however, I was compelled to do so after reading a couple of negative reviews that were TOTALLY WRONG AND MISLEADING. The Bravo Beach Hotel is something special ... read on. On our recent 9 day excursion to Puerto Rico,... more

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay at Bravo Beach Hotel and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone!! From the moment we arrived at BBH, Enid (staff) was extremely kind and welcoming. She knew exactly who I was based off of our previous email exchanges and was eager to assist us with settling in on the island. Since this is... more

Bravo Beach Hotel is nestled just outside of a small town on the Puerto Rican island of Vieques. The town is lovely, not overrun by tourists, and the sea is everywhere. Jackie and Harold, the managers at Bravo Beach Hotel run the perfect hotel. If you want to splurge, the villa with two bedrooms, huge living room, dining area, ktichen,... more

We just returned from our weekend in Vieques and we feel very ripped off. I am baffled why Bravo Beach Hotel has received favorable reviews from travel magazines and websites. Terrible location, no beach perks considering the beach is a mess and rocky, and the hotel is really worn down. I have stayed in nicer hostels when I was in... more

The hotel was fine. the view was fantastic. The price was too high. The staff was very nice and the island is wonderful. Everyday we drove to another amazing beach so it didn't matter that the hotel isn't on a swimming beach. The hotel restaurant isn't serving dinner but the chef across the street was great and reasonably priced. Don't... more

Stayed here for 3 nights with my girlfriend in January 2009. Firstly, the hotel is not on a beach, or even particularly close to a beach. We knew this in advance, but it bears repeating given the slightly misleading name of the hotel. The hotel has two swimming pools, which are fine but most people spend little time at the... more

My husband & I went away for the first time without our kids in 10 years.Jackie & Harold the couple that run the BBH (Bravo Beach Hotel) were extremly nice & their staff was very accommodating. There was nothing that we needed that they did not help us with! The room we stayed in (#9) was breath taking(& spotless) ,along with... more

Vieques has amazing pristine white sand beaches. Untouched, secluded, natural, and what a variety! Red beach was my favorite, it is a sheltered crescent. What I'm getting at here is that you go to vieques for the beaches, not for a hotel... If you're looking for a beach-front hotel this is not your island. BBH is on the coast, a... more

Bravo Beach was okay. This is not the side of the island to stay on. The beach is rocky and unswimmable and not blue. I wanted to love the hotel. I liked the decor and the Aveda products, but for $300 plus a night we didn't get any hotwater. I told the front desk immediately that we didn't have any.... more

This is probably the best hotel on the island but it leaves much to be desired. First, its overpriced.... not worth the $ 300 or so a night when you count taxes etc.. It is much like staying in a old Florida beach hotel from the 60's with nice linens and a few other updated amenities. Second, its on the... more
