We chose SeaView because we were flying into Castries at 10:15 pm, and needed something close (only a 2 minute, $8 US cab ride), and they would let us stay just one night (many of the places that cater to tourists have a 2-3 night minimum). We had made reservations in advance, and paid $60 US cash for a hotel room. Since we got in so late, we had to go to the gas station that is attached on the back of the hotel and request to be let in. Someone then showed us to our room.

While it's well taken care of, clean, and has the basics (A/C, cable TV, etc), it didn't help us sleep that first night. The bed mattress was wrapped in a plastic cover, and having the main highway right outside the window made it fairly noisy. Also, the neighbor's rooster started crowing at around 2-3 am...

It was nice that the following morning, we were able to walk about 5-10 minutes down the road to get to the Castries market by ourselves.
