We booked Villa Beach Cottages having seen the reviews here at Trip Advisor. The positive reviews are well deserved in our opinion. The negative ones are probably the result of a mis-match -- someone looking for a resort/hotel experience. The cottages are the most well outfitted cottages we’ve ever stayed in down to the blender. However there is no sharing table for departing guests to leave salt & pepper, sugar packets, uncooked pasta, etc for arriving guests and the room does not have any food items including coffee packets for the coffee maker so bring whatever you might need.... more

GENERAL ROOM NOTES: We read about the construction and were a little concerned, but immediately upon entering the grounds our fears were laid to rest. Colin Hunte, the owner, was very hospitable and tried to find us for two days before he ushered us into his private office to talk about his island home. It was definitely worth the time!... more

We spent a week at the Villa Beach Cottages. The villas are spacious and beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean with all modern amenities (including a jacuzzi tub with a window that overlooks the ocean, if you like).
