Having never been to the Caribbean before as we had always favoured the US we didn't know what to expect. Being used to Multi-Chain hotels we were unsure what the hotel was going to be like. Well, the first word to sum the hotel up is Fantastic! The rooms are what I call modest but they were clean and tidy. The all important air conditioning was remote control and our room had a fridge for keeping soft drinks cool. We went for the all inclusive option through Virgin Holidays. The food was 1st class. The menu was on par with food served in top London restaurants.
Drinks were free flowing - you never felt as if you were being greedy.
Entertainment was..... grown up... not really our cup of tea but after a hard day lounging on the beach I could have enjoyed listening to anything. The beach was also fantastic. The sea is quite rough (I guess from all the Sea Breeze) but you could still swim in safety. We liked it so much that we are booked to go again this year.... roll on June! more
